Join The Battle To Redeem Marriages

67-70% of men in the Church could be classified as sex addicts

70% of wives of sex addicts experience symptoms of PTSD*

Nearly half of trauma survivors experience post-traumatic growth

Dannah Gresh’s new book, Happily Even After, seeks to help women whose husbands are struggling with pornography and lust. Scratch that! It seeks to help the marriages where both the husband and wife are suffering.

While a husband is struggling with addiction and shame, a wife is often experiencing symptoms of betrayal trauma. Understanding the clinical complexities of their collective trauma is a critical starting point. But very few faith-based tools integrate this into biblical advice. Dannah writes about why this matters in chapter 3 of Happily Even After

This is His Brain (and Hers) on Sin!

We believe Jesus Christ can redeem the broken places. The book will help women:

1

Stop pretending everything is okay.

2

Strengthen themselves in the Lord.

3

Fight for their husband instead of with him.

4

Discover 7 beliefs a marriage needs for redemption.

5

Participate in their husband's redemption story.

But the book is just the beginning.

We are already hearing stories from women who have read the book and urgently need more help and resources.

Our prayer is to be able to help provide them. We’re already at work to:

  • Create a podcast for couples to listen to together as Bob and Dannah discuss their redemption  journey and encourage couples to start talking.
  • Record live-giving sessions with Bob and Dannah’s marriage counselor, Pete Kuiper, to explain clinical complexities through a biblical lens.
  • Offer an on-line webinar in March that offers couples courage.
  • Facilitate an in-person workshop for couples who want to continue healing and learn how to help others.
  • Hire staff to help get the word out and carry the message of redemption.

We’re seeking to raise $100,000 to make all of this possible. Can you help us?
